Hot Buttered Cranberry Punch August 23, 2008

- 1/3 cup Brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1/4 tsp ground Cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground Allspice
- 1/8 tsp ground Cloves
- 1/8 tsp ground Nutmeg
- 1/8 tsp Salt
- 2 cups Water
- 2 cups Pineapple juice (unsweetened)
- Butter pats
Crush cranberry sauce with a fork. Mix with sugar, spices and salt. Add water and pineapple juice. Cover and simmer 2 hours. Ladle into mugs and float a pat of butter in each serving.
