FLN, the Fine Living Network that brought you other Drinking Reality Shows such as "Three Sheets" and "The Thirsty Traveler" bring a new Bartending Themed Show to the air called "Bartender Wars". In FLN's own words:

If you've ever found that perfect seat at the bar for an after-work drink, or just to escape from the world, the last thing you expect is to be an unknowing participant in a contest between bartenders. As the night rolls on, our bartenders challenge each other to contests to see who makes the best drink as judges by the bar's patrons or who's the best matchmaker of the night or who can get their customers to pay for a completely made-up drink. Gear up for Bartender Wars, an undercover battle of the bartenders with a shot of liquid courage thrown in.

Tales of the Cocktail in partnership with Culinary Concierge Magazine and CocktailTimes.com invite you to submit a winning julep recipe for the Official Cocktail Competition of the 7th Annual Tales of the Cocktail. The winning julep will be used as the official cocktail at this year’s Tales of the Cocktail event in New Orleans.

February 23, 2009 - Judges review entries and are narrowed down to 10 finalists. Judges include Robert Hess, Yuri Kato, Chris McMillan and David Wondrich.
Early Spring 2009 - Winners announced
